A beautiful meal begins long before we sit down at the table. It begins with the people who grow our food, the places that give it character, and the care we bring to preparing it.

In French Magnolia Cooks, Thomas and I invite you to follow that journey with us.

We visit farms in Southwest Virginia, head out to hunt and fish, and learn from the people who know these ingredients best. Those experiences shape what we bring back to the kitchen—and deepen our appreciation for everything that goes into a meal.

Back at the French Magnolia Culinary Center, I share cooking techniques and French-inspired recipes you can bring into your own kitchen. Thomas explores the wines that belong alongside them, sharing the stories behind each bottle and helping you understand why a pairing works.

My hope is that you leave each episode with something to try, something to think about, and a little more confidence to cook and gather people around your own table.
