French Magnolia

A More Beautiful Way to Gather at Home

Some of my favorite moments happen just as everyone begins to settle in. There is something good cooking, Thomas is pouring the wine, and someone has pulled a chair a little closer to the table. The evening has found its own rhythm.

That feeling is at the heart of French Magnolia.

I’m Mary Catherine Fraley, though most people know me as Missy. My work brings together food, interiors, and the pleasure of welcoming people into a home. Alongside Thomas, whose love of wine and hospitality is woven into everything we do, I want to help you find more of those moments in your own life.

Perhaps you would love to host a dinner and enjoy being at the table yourself. Perhaps there is a room you are ready to rethink, or a dish you have always wanted to learn to make. You’ll find a place to begin here.

Explore Our World

A welcoming home comes together in so many ways: a meal prepared with care, a comfortable room, a bottle of wine chosen with someone in mind.

Through French Magnolia Cooks, we bring private dining and wine experiences to your table.
Through French Magnolia Interiors, I help you shape rooms for the way you live and gather.

You can also spend a little time with us through our television and video stories, explore the Journal for ideas about food, wine, and home, or visit the Shop to see what’s taking shape.

Begin with whatever brought you here. I hope you’ll discover something else you love along the way.

Hospitality Begins at Home

It is easy to put off inviting people over until the room is finished, the menu is decided, or life feels a little less busy. But there is so much pleasure in making use of what you already have—a favorite platter, flowers from the garden, a recipe you know by heart.

I love a beautiful table and a thoughtfully considered room. What gives them meaning is the life that happens there: the friend who stays for another cup of coffee, the family dinner that stretches into the evening, the guest who feels comfortable enough to help in the kitchen.

That is what I hope French Magnolia brings to your home: ideas you can use, help when you need it, and a little more confidence to open the door and welcome people in.
